Dr Nils Betzler is Product Manager Life Sciences at Qualisys AB, Sweden. His focus is on how to apply state-of-the art motion capture within Life Sciences to the benefit of researchers, coaches, athletes and patients alike.

Nils has gained more than 15 years’ experience in Biomechanics and Motion Capture, first studying Sports Engineering in Germany, later during his PhD at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh, UK.

Back in 2009, Nils started working for Qualisys, enabling the company to offer ready-made software modules for biomechanical analysis. This ultimately resulted in today’s product portfolio with modules for Clinical Gait, Golf, Running, Cycling and Baseball as well as a comprehensive software platform for interactive web reports.
