Marc Bolliger is the head of the Spinal Cord Injury Research Lab at the University Hospital Balgrist, Zurich. He is involved in the development of new technologies in neuro-rehabilitation and investigates the influence of spinal cord injury on plasticity of human spinal locomotor circuitries. In addition, he is interested in motor learning after spinal cord injury.

He did his PhD in Sports and Movement Science at Humboldt University Berlin, Germany focusing on proton spectroscopy to assess the influence of dehydration and extensive endurance performance on brain metabolites.
